“All That Glitters” … truly was a special time for me.
Appearing on the very first series of the BBC show was all a little surreal … in fact from start to finish the best word to sum it up is definitely surreal …… from the initial application that i thought had no chance of succeeding - to the stark realisation that it was actually happening and i was actually competing with 7 other super talented jewellers in a frenzy of challenges ….. even now just seems like a dream … but what a dream it was to be part of this new jewellery making show.
To be in the company of judges Shaun Leane & Solange Azagury-Partridge was such a privilege … and the host Katherine Ryan was such a blast … i will treasure my time in that fantastic workshop forever.
Just soo nice to hang out with this talented bunch … we sure had some crazy times.
…and an honour to spend time in the prestigious Birmingham School of Jewellery ... the technicians and backstage crew looked after us soo well - I didn’t want to leave.
…good times.
